My Work

I design spaces for real life - homes that feel cohesive, functional, and reflective of the people who live in them. Most of my projects start the same way: a mix of pieces that almost work, rooms that feel unfinished, or spaces that no longer reflect how life looks today. Through a thoughtful edit and a clear plan, we bring everything back into alignment. My approach is to keep what’s working, replace what’s not, and layer in new pieces that add clarity and cohesion

I believe in investing in the pieces you use every day - like the sofa your family gathers on or the table that anchors your home - while balancing them with more flexible, approachable elements. The result is a space that feels intentional, updated, and completely yours, without feeling overdone or overdesigned.

Primary Bedroom Refresh

The large bedroom felt flat and cold, with no clear focal point or sense of warmth. We introduced layered textures, rebalanced the layout, and added chunkier pieces that made the space feel more grounded and inviting. The bedroom now feels like a place to actually unwind, not just sleep.

Lake House Great Room

This brand-new lake house had beautiful modern finishes, but the space felt cool and unfinished with so many gray tones. We warmed it up with leather seating, layered in durable textures, and created a flexible layout that can easily shift for everyday living or hosting. Now the room feels inviting, comfortable, and ready for long summer weekends with family and friends.

Music + Game Room

With tall ceilings and concrete floors, this space had great energy but felt echoey and underutilized for how the client wanted to use it. We introduced an oversized rug and layered in durable, family-friendly furniture to help absorb sound and make the room more comfortable for everyday use, whether listening to music, watching TV, or playing games. Custom artwork and framed concert posters line the walls, with space intentionally left to grow the client’s collection over time. Now the room feels warm, functional, and built for spending time together.

Blank Slate Living Room

This charming home had great bones, but the layout wasn’t working - there was no clear entry moment and the long room made furniture placement feel awkward and unfinished. We reworked the layout to better define the space, incorporated a few key investment pieces, and layered in smart finds (including a Lulu and Georgia sectional sourced on consignment and oak chairs from Restoration Hardware outlet) to balance quality with budget. Now the room feels cohesive, comfortable, and actually functions for everyday life.
